URGENT!! – the shelter is very crowded and Baby Girl is not doing well. She needs a loving (single pet home) Pitbull experience home is ideal but really any home that will allow her to decompress and gradually begin to work with her again on impulse control. She is smart and willing and affectionate BUT (she has been in a crowded shelter for a long time and it is obvious to many who love her, that it’s not fair to make her keep living this way
Not fair to blame anybody- no smart and active dog can handle containment in a crowded shelter for so long, so instead of saving a dog on the CA euthanasia list – LOOK and ADOPT LOCALLY!

Hi there, I’m Baby Girl! I’m bound to be your new best friend with notes from a past owner that say I’m an adventure seeker, a goofball, and love attention. I may be a little guarded at first, but once I know we’re friends, I’m all yours with lots of wiggles! I’ve had ruff experiences with dogs in the past and have shown that I do not enjoy other dogs’ company, so no other dogs in the home, please! I also have some minor medical ailments that the animal health staff is currently treating me for, but our counselors will set you up for success when you chat with them about taking me home. Despite my challenges, my playful spirit shines through, especially when I am chasing after my favorite tennis ball during a game of fetch! Come meet me!

“AZUL” URGENT!!! BLUE NEEDS OUT of the shelter NOW! gorgeous black husky mix, blue-green eyes
AZUL (aka BLUE) is going downhill in the shelter and needs a good loving, active and committed home NOW!! Not fair to blame anybody- no active dog can handle shelter containment in a crowded shelter for so long, so instead of saving a dog on the CA euthanasia list – LOOK and ADOPT LOCALLY!
He’s a smart and very handsome guy – does not deserve to be lingering in a shelter! Azul has many volunteer fans who believe in him, but they also see that he is sadly reaching his emotional limit for shelter containment.
NOT suitable for an apartment

Hola!! My name is Blue, I am a one (actually 2) year old male Husky mix looking for a home! Something fun about me is that I also know my name in Spanish (Azul), as well as other basic commands in Spanish like sit and down. I am known to be friendly with small dogs and people of all ages, and I love to play! I am a very sweet boy with a good amount of energy so I will need daily exercise. I’m still learning my manners and can be jumpy and mouthy. Your adoption counselor can discuss some training techniques to help. If you are looking for a fun, playful dog to add some joy to your life and help make you laugh, then look no further! Come say hi please.
